Over the course of 12 years, TIME FOR SCHOOL: 2003 – 2016 documents children from different countries around the world as they try to get a basic education. These children live in situations where poverty, child labor, early marriage and the chaos of war prevent many from remaining in school. The film presents how each child’s education contrasts in quality and stability, forcing some to abandon their schooling and allowing others to continue. While each child has a unique experiences, together their stories demonstrate the impacts of unequal access to education. The film premiered on PBS in 2016. Director/Producer: Nina Chaudry
