Leon Panetta Reacts to The Invisible War
The Former Secretary of Defense on the film that spurred action around ending sexual assault in the military

After its release, members of congress, the Department of Defense, and the White House watched THE INVISIBLE WAR (2012), a film exposing the rape epidemic in the military. Following a screening of the film, Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta held a press conference announcing his plan to try and help end this violence. During an interview on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, the film’s director and producer Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering respond to Panetta’s efforts.
