New York: The Future of Cities, is a two-part, four hour film chronicling the story of New York City across the first two decades of the 21st Century: a dizzying period of change during which New York and its people have confronted no fewer than four global crises of existential proportions: the aftermath of 9/11 – the financial crisis of 2008 – the climate crisis heralded by Super Storm Sandy in 2012 – and the Covid crisis.
