A PATH APPEARS is a three-part documentary series following Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, as well as actor/activists Malin Akerman, Mia Farrow, Ronan Farrow, Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, Ashley Judd, Blake Lively, Eva Longoria and Alfre Woodard. As they journey to Colombia, Haiti, Kenya, and throughout the United States, they uncover the harshest forms of gender inequality, the devastating impact of poverty, and the ripple effects that follow: including sex trafficking, teen pregnancy, gender-based violence, child slavery, as well as effective solutions being forged to combat these human rights violations. The series originally aired in 2015 on PBS as a special presentation of the Independent Lens program, part of the highly-regarded Women and Girls Lead initiative.
